Located in the historic village of Lake Placid in the High Peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains, La Selva Real Estate can assist you with all your real estate and vacation rental needs in Lake Placid and the surrounding area.
John La Selva, Owner-Broker. John grew up in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. His father is the founder, Musical Director and Conductor of the New York Grand Opera. His mother is a Real Estate Broker in Montclair having had an office of her own for many years.
John's sales career began selling China, Crystal and cookware door to door to would be brides in 1987. Moving to Lake Placid in 1995, John worked for the Hilton, Lake Placid Resort, where he became a front desk supervisor and was responsible for staff training. In 2002 he went to work for a local real estate agency as a vacation rental specialist. He began listing and selling properties in 2004. In early 2007, John was ready to make the move to his own agency. John is currently an Officer on the Board of Directors for the Northern Adirondack Board of Realtors (N.A.B.O.R)
John and two sons live in the Village of Lake Placid. John is an avid back country kayaker and often guides customers, clients and friends out for some great paddles. Come join him!

Jodi S. Downs
Current President of the Northern Adirondack Board of Realtors, Jodi has been in real estate for over 15 years. Most of her time was spent as a Vacation Rental Specialist in Keene Valley. She now focuses in residential and commercial sales, and handles some Keene Valley area Vacation Rentals from her home office.
Jodi is an avid artist and glass blower. She has organized many art shows over the years, including the annual art show in August at Marcy Field in August.
Jodi resides with her husband and son in Keene Valley.
